MODERNISING THE LOOK AND FEEL
FROM THE LOGO TO THE PRODUCT IMAGES
MODERN. ELEGANT. EMBOSSING FRIENDLY
By deeply understanding the preferences, behaviours, and expectations of the target audience, I was able to craft content that truly resonated with them. I developed a content strategy that highlighted the craftsmanship, showcased the people behind the products, and emphasized the satisfaction of the end user.
I flew to our workshop in Poland, to direct, film and produce authentic and engaging video content of how Snakehive’s phone cases came to life:
Focusing on the people behind the craftsmanship not only demonstrated the tactility of the leather, but it additionally added transparency across the brand identity.
At the time, Snakehive was the only phone case company to shine a light on the manufacturing process in this way.
EMPHASISING END USER SATISFACTION
To complement the craftsmanship behind Snakehive’s products, I coordinated and executed photo shoots of the phone cases. I sourced models from different segments of the target audience and used multiple scenes to communicate effectively with our existing audience and introduce a younger demographic.
In response to increasing screen time in today’s world, I introduced a strategic guideline for capturing warm, friendly faces in social settings, which I directed from behind the camera. This approach was thoughtfully prepared to show the use of phones as part of the experience, rather than as a distraction, balancing the use of technology in everyday life.
THE POSITIVE CONVERSATIONS THAT FOLLOWED
PRODUCT AND CONTENT MARKETING CAMPAIGNS
Alongside the new identity, the marketing calendar continued to flow.
Apple launches a new iPhone range in October every year, with Samsung following suite in Febuary. To this day, these are the largest marketing opportunities for phone protection businesses.
During this time, I applied my project management skills to oversee the new branding identity visuals for the new product and seasonal marketing campaigns. I captured pack shots in the photo studio, directed and produced further lifestyle content for social media, designed multiple emails for optimal delivery, updated the entire Amazon infographic store front and listings, and managed the UK and US Snakehive website.
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ROI DESIGN IMPROVEMENT
Using the new phone releases as an opportunity, I used my ability to refine creative assets through iterative testing and improved the quality of infographics and video content on the Amazon product listings. The results from making the product USP’s clearer and adding elements of the new brand identity, we had an 18% increase in conversion rates across the company’s US and UK Amazon sales channels.

It’s been 3 years since I worked at Snakehive, but to this day, the design indentity and strategic visual guidelines that I set out are still excecuted by the team. It was a plesure being part of such a dynamic group and I am proud to of all that I achieved there.
